Details
Complex bouquet with delicate aromas: tobacco, roasted coffee and leather, combined with fruity notes. Round and powerful on the palate with fine-grained, grippy tannins and an elegant finish. Matured in new French barriques.
Recommendation
Meat always goes well with this top-class wine - in all variations.
Vinification
The hand-picked grapes are carefully selected and pressed separately immediately after arrival at the winery. After the grapes have been gently destemmed and crushed, the mash ferments in steel tanks. After fermentation, the young wines are aged for a year in new French barriques. This is followed by the assemblage of the best batches and a further six months of maturation in the barriques.
